How do you tell the difference between.

The truth about nutrition or “eating properly” is not hard to find- you just need to look for it. So, how do you get started eating your way to health, more energy, better sleep, less fatigue, better skin, clearer thinking, more positive attitude, etc? First, make sure you have already RSVP’d for the Free Nutrition Seminar scheduled this coming Monday evening at 6:30pm. I know it is hard to make the time after a long day, but you simply can not afford to not educate yourself in the area of proper nutrition. Your health and the health of your family depend on you taking control of your food choices. I can show you how to start that process. This seminar will truly make a difference in your life. Until then here is some food for thought:

How do you tell the difference between “Real Food” and “Food Products”?
While "Food Products" are:

    • Produced, manufactured
    • Neat, convenient
    • Always the same
    • Keeps forever
    • Instant results
    • Dull, bland
    • Artificially flavorful
    • No connection to land or culture

“Real Food” can be identified because it is:

    • Grown
    • Messy
    • Variable quality
    • Goes bad fast
    • Requires preparation
    • Vibrant colors, rich textures
    • Authentically flavorful
    • Strong connection to land and culture

A few other suggestions to help you make the distinction:

    • If it didn't exist until after 1903 (when the hydrogenation process was invented), it's probably not “Real Food”.
    • If it's wrapped in layers of plastic, cardboard and foil, it's probably not “Real Food”.
    • If it requires heavy advertising to sell it, it's probably not “Real Food”.

Now, ask yourself this question… what percentage of all the food you consume in any given week is composed of “Food Products” instead of “Real Food”? Realistically the average person is probably in the 80-90% range. If health is a priority to you and your family, that number should remain the same, but instead represent the amount of “Real Food” that you are consuming- not “Food Products”. This can be done easily. Most people just don’t know the what, how or why to “Real Food” consumption. Don’t be that person any longer! Make a change in how you are living and eating!
